Our approach

James Fitzpatrick founded Fitzpatrick Co after 31 years in accounting. He works with landlords, freelancers, e-commerce founders and tradespeople across Brighton & Hove, and handles HMRC enquiries himself.
A Brighton landlord with a six-property portfolio came to us after his previous accountant had been treating each property individually rather than looking at his position as a whole. Within the first review we identified he’d been overpaying — his allowable expenses hadn’t been fully claimed, and no one had looked at whether his ownership structure was still the right one now the portfolio had grown. We corrected the current year’s return, flagged prior-year amendments to pursue, and moved him onto a structure that fits the size of the portfolio he actually has now.
“Fitzpatrick Co immediately spotted I’d been overpaying for years. The savings paid for their fees many times over.”
